The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soshnyanin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice jab there from Soshnyanin.
Stevens throws a lazy body kick
and Soshnyanin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stevens moves away from the strike by Soshnyanin.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
Stevens has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stevens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Soshnyanin counters with a left and a right that stings Stevens.
A thudding body kick lands there by Stevens!
Soshnyanin lands with a cross.
Soshnyanin lands with an overhand left.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
Soshnyanin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Stevens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut there from Soshnyanin.
Stevens dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Soshnyanin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Abraham's Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Stevens throws out a powerful jab.
DBrickashaw Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevens misses with a looping left.
Stevens throws a body shot but no joy.
Soshnyanin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stevens's calf.
Soshnyanin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stevens's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Stevens is rocked!
Stevens misses with an uppercut
and before Stevens has any time to reset, Soshnyanin cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Viktor Soshnyanin!
