The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eastfold fails in his attempt to clinch.
Barack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eastfold as he avoids it easily.
Barack looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eastfold is fending him off so far but Barack persists. Nope, Eastfold circles away and we're back to standing.
Eastfold wants to clinch up but Barack keeps it at a distance.

Eastfold breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eastfold looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Eomer Eastfold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No luck for Barack with that takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eastfold tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barack paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Barack seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eastfold does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Eastfold is trying to stand up here but Barack is controlling him well.

Barack is trying to control the action in half guard but Eastfold is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barack swats away the attempt to clinch by Eastfold.
Barack shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eastfold pinned against the cage. Eastfold gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice takedown defense from Eastfold. No joy for Barack on that attempt.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Eastfold drops Barack with a left and a right! Oh, Barack is hurt - Eastfold dives into side control looking to finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Eastfold has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Barack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Eastfold is looking to clinch.
Barack fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Barack keeps the fight on the outside.
Eastfold lands with a big right hook that stumbles Barack - he's out on his feet here! Eastfold follows up with another monster hook that separates Barack from consciousness! Barack falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Eastfold stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
