Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Lyons (ranked 24723 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Yamada (ranked 7454 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Yamada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lyons is trying to defend but Yamada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lyons is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yamada is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lyons to the mat. Lyons regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Yamada shoots in looking for a takedown. Lyons tries to sprawl out of it but Yamada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lyons manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lyons is looking to counter the offense by Yamada and move into the clinch.

Yamada has hold of Lyons's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lyons seems comfortable defending it but Yamada has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lyons is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lyons is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Yamada couldn't care less - he's delighted!
