Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson gets tackled into the cage by McGarrick. McGarrick maintains the clinch.
McGarrick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGarrick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jackson, pushing him back against the cage.
Jackson content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McGarrick has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
McGarrick connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Lon Jackson has been cut.
Jackson tries to land knees in the clinch but McGarrick avoids the damage to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A bit of stalling here from Jackson.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
McGarrick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McGarrick forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches.
Jackson stalling in the clinch but McGarrick improves position.
Jackson is trying to push McGarrick away but McGarrick has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jackson has a couple of punches blocked by McGarrick.
McGarrick lands a nice uppercut.
Jackson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and McGarrick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McGarrick lands a big head kick that sends Jackson to the canvas! McGarrick follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malcolm McGarrick!
