Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Kemp (ranked 691 p4p, 76 weight class) and Artur Kasza (ranked 973 p4p, 104 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Kemp! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Artur Kasza! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasza with a poor takedown and Kemp counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kemp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kasza. Kasza with the counter takedown but Kemp avoids it easily. Kasza takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Kemp jabs Kasza right on the nose. Kasza blinks but takes it well. Kemp throws an overhand right that lands on Kasza's shoulder, as Kasza tries to avoid the shot. Kasza changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kemp misses the jab. Kasza drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kemp defends it well. Kemp misses with a straight right. We've been told by Kemp's head coaches at Total Impact MMA/KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Kemp misses. Kasza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kemp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kemp is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasza lands a few punches from side control. Kasza tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kasza is chipping away with strikes.

That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kasza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kemp tries to avoid it but Kasza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kemp to the ground. Kemp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Kemp misses the target. Kasza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kemp appears to be looking for a big counter. Kemp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kasza with the counter takedown but Kemp avoids it easily. Kasza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kemp is fending him off so far but Kasza persists. Nope, Kemp circles away and we're back to standing. A big right from Kemp misses. Kasza shoots in looking for a takedown. Kemp tries to sprawl out of it but Kasza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes.
