Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blaise Pascual (ranked 2143 p4p, 257 weight class) and Alvarez Croce (ranked 2645 p4p, 297 weight class). Croce is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bleed to Death. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blaise Pascual!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alvarez Croce !
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pascual throws a looping overhand right but Croce ducks down to avoid it.
Croce feints the counter takedown.
Pascual misses the shot to the body.
Croce moves out of range as Pascual strikes.
And Croce tries to counter it with a takedown but Pascual pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Croce keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pascual.

Pascual tries to sprawl but Croce drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Pascual pushes Croce off and gets back to his feet.
Croce changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pascual tries to avoid it but Croce manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pascual to the ground. Pascual escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Croce uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pascual.
Croce drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pascual defends it well.
Croce avoids the body shot from Pascual.

Pascual rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Croce counters with a shoot takedown. Pascual fights it but they end up in guard.
Pascual pulls Croce in close to prevent any damage.
Pascual knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Croce on the ground.
Pascual not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Croce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Croce is working Pascual over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Pascual has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Croce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A nice right hand lands inside from Pascual.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Pascual creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


That has opened up Alvarez Croce 's cut even more.
The referee calls for Pascual to work.
Pascual fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Pascual misses with a punch on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Croce tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pascual just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Croce breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pascual throws a lazy right hand but Croce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pascual sizes up Croce with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Pascual lands a big uppercut and Croce crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Croce looks OK. Pascual waves Croce back to his feet!

and Pascual counters with a huge right that knocks Croce out cold! Pascual is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Blaise Pascual!
Alvarez Croce was interviewed post fight and said 'I knew that i was gonna lose this fight coz i have been having problems in grapling defense. He submited me and that was it. It is wat it is, and I always stay humble and look for wat is next to be done.'.
