Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lei Kung (ranked 8894 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 2499 p4p, 0 weight class). Pencil has chosen Full Retard as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lei Kung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
43 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wooden Pencil! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kung misses with a combination
and Pencil counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pencil. Kung tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pencil avoids it. Kung is struggling to control the position. Kung breaks from the clinch.
Kung looks to land a combination but Pencil avoids it well. Pencil paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kung throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kung goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. We've been informed that Pencil has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kung takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kung has Pencil up against the cage in a clinch.
Pencil manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pencil showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kung.
Kung definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kung misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pencil throws a chopping leg kick but Kung manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Pencil attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kung takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Pencil throws a looping overhand right but Kung ducks down to avoid it. Kung is looking to score with low kicks. Pencil is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Pencil connects with an inside leg kick. Pencil throws a low kick but Kung avoids it. Kung fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pencil, pushing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kung manages to break the clinch.
Kung looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kung misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pencil is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Kung throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pencil tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kung is in Pencil's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kung drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pencil dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pencil stands up from Kung's guard - Pencil perhaps looking for a knockout. Kung fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kung misses with a few strikes there.
Kung throws a leg kick and Pencil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kung wants to improve his position but Pencil is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kung is trying to control but Pencil manages to pass to mount!
Pencil controlling from the full mount. Pencil stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Kung tries to bum rush Pencil with a series of wild strikes but Pencil uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kung. Pencil bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pencil throws a series of punches but Kung avoids them all with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A good leg kick by Pencil. Kung misses with a two punch combination.
Kung has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kung fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Pencil's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pencil connects with the punch. Wooden Pencil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pencil scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Lei Kung has been cut. Pencil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kung. Kung lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pencil backs up against the cage.
Lei Kung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pencil connects with an inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wooden Pencil will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lei Kung's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kung bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pencil's head. Pencil stuffs the takedown. Pencil tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kung misses with a leg kick and Pencil counters with a nice uppercut. Pencil dodges the punch combination from Kung.
Pencil changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kung walks straight into a right hand from Pencil - that's dropped him! Pencil jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kung from any more punishment! Kung complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wooden Pencil! Wooden Pencil took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Spartan Nutrition for their support in the buildup to the fight.
