Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Gotti (ranked 1369 p4p, 167 weight class) and Teodors Ozolinsh (ranked 1100 p4p, 138 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teodors Ozolinsh! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotti stalks Ozolinsh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ozolinsh's face. Ozolinsh staggers backwards, shaken. Gotti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ozolinsh swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gotti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ozolinsh was well out of range. Poor timing from Gotti. Gotti has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Gotti bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ozolinsh's head. Gotti cracks Ozolinsh with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd cheers as Gotti lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ozolinsh doesn't seem phased though. A decent looking cross lands there for Gotti. Don Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gotti uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ozolinsh.

Ozolinsh has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Ozolinsh tries to land a body kick and Gotti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gotti slips under a jab. Gotti was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gotti's corner calls for a 1-2. Gotti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gotti dives in for a single leg takedown but Ozolinsh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A little jabbing left from Ozolinsh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ozolinsh takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gotti throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ozolinsh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gotti swings for the body but Ozolinsh moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ozolinsh takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ozolinsh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gotti. Gotti obviously looking to wear him down.
Ozolinsh throws a head kick but Gotti moves out of range.
Gotti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ozolinsh swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gotti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ozolinsh pinned against the cage. Ozolinsh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gotti moves into range and clinches up with Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gotti lands an uppercut. Ozolinsh struggles to land a body shot inside as Gotti controls his hands.
Gotti doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gotti changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ozolinsh fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Gotti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gotti keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ozolinsh. Gotti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ozolinsh manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gotti lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ozolinsh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ozolinsh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A little jabbing left from Ozolinsh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ozolinsh throws a right hand that misses
and Gotti counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gotti lands a nice looking body shot.
Ozolinsh getting the better of the striking in that exchange. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gotti misses with a body shot.
Gotti takes a swing at Ozolinsh's ribcage but misses. Gotti fails in his attempt to clinch. Gotti lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Gotti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ozolinsh.
Gotti is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Gotti scores with a leg kick.
Ozolinsh tries to clinch up but Gotti circles away and keeps his distance. Ozolinsh takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ozolinsh fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A shot to the body from Gotti misses letting Ozolinsh counter with a right hand. Ozolinsh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ozolinsh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gotti.
Gotti lands with a shot to the body. Gotti looks to throw the jab but Ozolinsh is out of range. Gotti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ozolinsh throws a leg kick but Gotti sees it coming and checks it nicely. Gotti is looking to wear down Ozolinsh with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Ozolinsh loads up on a big right hand but Gotti slips the punch. Gotti on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh obviously looking to wear him down.
Decent striking displayed by Ozolinsh there. A looping hook to the body misses from Gotti. Ozolinsh does a little dance to reset his feet. Ozolinsh darts in and clinches Gotti up against the cage. Ozolinsh blocks a body shot from Gotti. Ozolinsh tries to work over Gotti's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ozolinsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gotti lands a jab to the nose. Gotti takes a swing at Ozolinsh's ribcage but misses. Ozolinsh is trying to counter with his kicks. Ozolinsh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gotti shoots in and gets a takedown into Ozolinsh's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gotti postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ozolinsh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gotti, into his guard. Gotti tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gotti wants to hit a switch here but Ozolinsh passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gotti there! Ozolinsh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Gotti manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Gotti dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gotti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gotti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gotti ducks under a wild hook from Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ozolinsh looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ozolinsh stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Left hook, right uppercut from Gotti. Gotti wants to clinch. Gotti connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ozolinsh's hands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gotti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ozolinsh. Ozolinsh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gotti connects with a nice looking jab.
Don Gotti is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotti lands a jab-cross combination. Gotti is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ozolinsh throws a big counter head kick but Gotti avoids it with no problem. Gotti uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ozolinsh. Gotti misses the shot to the body. Ozolinsh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ozolinsh keeping moving, preventing Gotti from controlling successfully. Gotti throws a big right hand that misses. Ozolinsh pulls Gotti in close to prevent any damage. Gotti stopping the sweep attempt from Ozolinsh. Gotti throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gotti trying to control but Ozolinsh is working from the bottom. Gotti throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gotti trying to control the position from guard on top but Ozolinsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gotti missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ozolinsh keeping moving, preventing Gotti from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gotti lunges at Ozolinsh with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ozolinsh's hand. Ozolinsh throws a hook but Gotti blocks it. Gotti takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ozolinsh walks into a left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotti throws a sloppy body shot
and Ozolinsh counters with a good low kick that Gotti was not able to check. Gotti thuds a left hand into Ozolinsh's body. Gotti misses with a body shot
and Ozolinsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A shot to the liver by Gotti. Beautiful body shot. Ozolinsh scores with the left hand. Gotti knows he should have avoided that one. Gotti works over Ozolinsh's head and body with a nice combination. Jab from Gotti. Gotti throws out a loose jab but Ozolinsh uses good head movement to avoid it. Ozolinsh pounces like a tiger and cracks Gotti with a vicious hook! Gotti is down but not out! Ozolinsh follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
