Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Mansel (ranked 6667 p4p, 199 weight class) and Tom Can (ranked 8302 p4p, 227 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Victor Mansel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Can! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mansel lands a head shot. Mansel jabbing away but nothing is landing. Can shoots in and gets a takedown into Mansel's guard. Mansel is trying to control the position but Can postures up. Can slips nicely into half guard. Can is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Can missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Can missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mansel throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Mansel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Can on the ground. Mansel is looking to improve his position.
Can not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mansel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Can is working away from the top position though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Can is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mansel defends it well. Can is trying to work for a kimura but Mansel is defending well.
Mansel is trying to stand back up but Can is controlling him
Can is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Can seems to be working for a kimura but Mansel defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Can prevents Mansel from improving his position. Can has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Can seems to be looking for submissions.
Can wants to work for an arm triangle but Mansel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mansel wants to get back to his feet. Mansel tries to get to full guard but Can has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Can has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mansel defend it? Can steps over the head and cranks it - Mansel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Can!
