Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jamaican Jam (ranked 3344 p4p, 93 weight class) and Buster Ray (ranked 4042 p4p, 120 weight class). Jam comes to the ring accompanied by Quartiere Coffee - In Jamaica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamaican Jam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buster Ray! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jam avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ray misses with a series of wild punches.
Jam slips a jab and a cross from Ray.
Ray lands with a right hand. Ray throws a poor cross that misses
and Jam counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ray misses with a hook
and Jam counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A big right from Ray misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jam uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ray. Ray throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Buster Ray has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Jam. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ray looks to land a combination but Jam avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray avoids a punch combination nicely.
Buster Ray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jam scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jam lands a glancing blow to the side of Ray's head. A telegraphed right hand from Jam misses the target. Ray misses with a left hand and Jam counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ray thinking. Ray looks winded! Ray throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Jam to counter with a crisp jab. Ray misses with a right hand and Jam counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ray thinking. Ray scores with a jab to the body. Ray throws a combination that misses and Jam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jam counters with a nice uppercut.
Ray is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jam cracks Ray with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Ray is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Ray is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Ray could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jamaican Jam! An out of breath Jamaican Jam thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
