Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eliseo Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McGregor!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor throws a body punch but Sanders moves out of range.

Sanders closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanders lands in his opponent's guard.

Sanders stands up and waves to McGregor to follow him.

Sanders gets caught flat footed, as McGregor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sanders looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
McGregor wanted to stand there but Sanders had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanders throws a couple of heel strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor tries to stand but Sanders is controlling from the bottom.
Sanders managing to control the position.

Sanders is pulling down on McGregor's head to control his posture.
Sanders working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McGregor.
Sanders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGregor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sanders is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McGregor is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanders has wrist control.
McGregor being controlled here momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.
McGregor with a nice cross.
Sanders throws a wild hook but McGregor just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Sanders gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - McGregor raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conor McGregor!
