Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Dias (ranked 5534 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Sajko (ranked 5509 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Dias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Sajko!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sajko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sajko showed some decent athleticism there.
Sajko drops an elbow to the side of Dias's head.
Dias is trying to stand up here but Sajko is controlling him well.

Sajko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dias wants to control but Sajko is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dias won't allow Sajko to pass to mount.
Dias really is a fat lump.
Sajko is taking a breather. Dias says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dias throws a strike from the bottom but Sajko passes into side control!

Sajko decides to stand back up. Sajko steps back and let's Dias get back to his feet.
Dias shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sajko pinned against the cage. Sajko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sajko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dias defends well and Sajko ends up having to push Dias into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dias shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sajko but Sajko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Dias. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sajko unleashes a big counter combination but Dias bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Dias gets caught napping as Sajko dives in and scores a takedown. Dias manages to retain guard.
Sajko tries to free his leg and advance position but Dias is retaining full guard.
Dias wants to sweep but no luck.
Sajko wants to control from the top but Dias keeps moving.
Sajko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dias has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Sajko has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Sajko is trying to break the clinch but Dias is controlling him.
Dias is trying to force a seperation but Sajko has the dominant position.
Sajko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dias walks away with a smile on his face. Sajko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sajko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dias, pushing him back against the cage.
Sajko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Sajko tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Dias drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sajko gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dias slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Dias has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sajko keeping moving, preventing Dias from controlling successfully.
Dias is stalling in the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dias throws a big elbow that misses.

Jesus Sajko dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sajko lands with a straight right. Dias didn't see that one coming.
Dias circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dias appears to be looking for a big counter.

Sajko is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Dias shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sajko sprawls well. Sajko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dias gets slowly back to his feet.

A head kick from Sajko lands but Dias takes it in his stride.

Dias avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dias wants to control from the top but Sajko keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sajko as he jumps to the side.
Dias sets himself, and Sajko steps forward looking for the clinch! Dias avoids it this time.

Dias gets a double leg takedown into Sajko's guard.

Sajko manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sajko tries to avoid it but Dias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sajko to the ground. Sajko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sajko fails to land the takedown.
Dias shoots in but Sajko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Dias drives through and clinches with Sajko against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jesus Sajko will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Nick Dias is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dias leaves Sajko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dias fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sajko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dias shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sajko but Sajko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Dias. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dias is trying to pull guard but Sajko has him pressed against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Dias jumps guard but Sajko stands there with Dias around his waist. Dias gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sajko tries to roll over but Dias keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dias in particular looking to stall.
Dias passes into side control, despite Sajko's attempt to control the position.
Dias slows the pace down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sajko tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Sajko just trying to survive but Dias is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nick Dias showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sajko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
