Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anibal Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emond Teach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anibal Ferreira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emond Teach! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teach gets the takedown into side control. Teach decides to stand back up. Teach steps back and let's Ferreira get back to his feet. Ferreira displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Ferreira scores with a jab. Teach acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Emond Teach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferreira with a lazy takedown attempt and Teach counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ferreira tries for a takedown but Teach circles away easily and Teach counters with a one-two to the body. Ferreira has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anibal Ferreira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferreira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Teach as he jumps to the side. Teach closes the distance and clinches. Teach manages to break the clinch.
A leg kick checked by Ferreira. Teach scores with a takedown into Ferreira's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Teach forces his way into half guard. Teach tries to stand and escape but Ferreira is controlling the position. Teach missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teach not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Teach stands up and beckons Ferreira to join him on the feet. A choreographed right hand from Ferreira misses the target. Ferreira digs a good body shot into Teach's ribs. Ferreira misses with a takedown attempt and Teach counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Teach. Ferreira is breathing heavily. Ferreira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Teach doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Teach manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Teach stands up from Ferreira's guard - Teach perhaps looking for a knockout. Ferreira tries for a takedown but Teach circles away easily and Teach counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ferreira won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Teach working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ferreira is trying to get back to his feet. Ferreira tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferreira wants to control but Teach postures up. Teach takes a little break here. Ferreira wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Ferreira takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ferreira is rocked! Teach tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ferreira sneaks out the side door and pushes Teach away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Nice shot lands for Ferreira. Ferreira fails with the takedown and Teach counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Oh Ferreira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Teach looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Teach is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ferreira has managed to free his arm - good work. Ferreira seems to have got his legs back now. Teach trying to pass the guard but Ferreira defending well. Ferreira wants to get back to his feet.
Teach looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ferreira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. It looks like Teach is going to stand back up.
Teach wants to pass to mount but Ferreira is defending the position. Teach is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ferreira is not content to let Teach control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ferreira wants to get back to his feet. Ferreira tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ferreira is defending against the submission attempts here by Teach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ferreira shoots in and bounces Teach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Teach has an active guard here but Ferreira has managed to pass into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ferreira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Teach does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emond Teach dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ferreira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Teach. Teach looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ferreira! Ferreira manages to regain half guard. Good work. Teach has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ferreira gets back to half guard. Teach stalling. Teach throwing shots but Ferreira is blocking nicely. Teach is trying to control the action in half guard but Ferreira is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Teach tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ferreira. Teach seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferreira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ferreira looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Teach trying to mount his opponent but Ferreira defends it. Ferreira actively working from the bottom here. Teach is looking to advance position but Ferreira won't allow it. Ferreira trying to control here.
Ferreira is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Teach throwing shots but Ferreira is blocking nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ferreira tries a low kick but Teach avoids it. A head kick misses from Ferreira. Ferreira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Teach throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ferreira cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ferreira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Teach has a takedown stuffed. Ferreira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ferreira changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Teach looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Teach is looking to reverse the position. Teach defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ferreira wants to control but Teach is keeping him busy. Teach manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Teach trying to control the pace. Teach is pressing down on Ferreira's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ferreira is holding on for now.

Teach lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Teach drops an elbow to the side of Ferreira's head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ferreira is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Teach working the head and body with strikes. Teach takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emond Teach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Teach decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ferreira tries to roll over but Teach keeps him under control. Ferreira looking for submissions off his back. Teach throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Teach wants to pass the guard but Ferreira is defending well. Teach wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferreira keeps working. Teach takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Anibal Ferreira is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Teach wants to clinch up but Ferreira keeps it at a distance. Ferreira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Teach counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Teach moves into range and connects with a jab. Ferreira misses with a two punch combination.

They are putting on a show! Teach trying to move into half guard but instead Ferreira has managed to sweep! Teach looking to control.
Ferreira gets to his feet - Teach follows without any prompting. Teach keeps the fight on the outside. Nice sprawl there from Teach as Ferreira shoots in. Ferreira works the jab nicely. Ferreira lands with a nice body punch. Ferreira lands a head shot. Ferreira tries to clinch up but Teach circles away and keeps his distance. Teach ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferreira moves away. Teach staying out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Teach feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Teach trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferreira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Teach slips nicely into half guard. Teach scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ferreira is pressing down on Teach's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ferreira is trying to keep Teach in close.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Teach wants to hold on but Ferreira pushes him away. Anibal Ferreira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Teach is trying to reverse the position but instead Ferreira has taken his back - oops!
And that's the end of the fight! Emond Teach comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Teach has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
