Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkonen throws a shot from downtown. Limbtwister moves away and avoids it.
Mikkonen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Limbtwister takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Lazerus Limbtwister has been cut.
Mikkonen ducks under a wild hook from Limbtwister.
Mikkonen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Limbtwister eats them both and turns towards Mikkonen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Limbtwister is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mikkonen drops Limbtwister with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Limbtwister looks back up at him and smiles so Mikkonen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Limbtwister is rocked!
That has opened up Lazerus Limbtwister's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mikkonen is stalking Limbtwister. Limbtwister circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Mikkonen, and it's lights out! Limbtwister really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Manu Mikkonen!
