Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gokhan Saki (ranked 2369 p4p, 336 weight class) and Mike Snow (ranked 2877 p4p, 390 weight class). Gokhan Saki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gokhan Saki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saki.
Snow smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Saki jabs Snow to the body, keeping him at a distance. Saki misses with an attempted mid kick.
Saki throws a series of punches but Snow avoids them all with ease. Snow throws a looping overhand right but Saki ducks down to avoid it. Snow throws a lazy right hand but Saki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Snow scores with a hook to the body. Saki takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Saki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Snow moves into the clinch. Snow breaks the clinch.
Snow lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Saki throws the kick towards the body but Snow avoids it. Saki thumps Snow with a low kick. Snow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saki moves away. Snow takes the fight into the clinch. Snow presses Saki against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Saki is breathing heavily. Snow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snow dives in and scores a takedown into Saki's guard. Snow with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Snow works over Saki with some ground and pound from guard. Snow looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Saki has momentary wrist control but Snow slips an elbow through the middle. Snow sitting in guard, not really doing much. Snow stops Saki from standing up. Snow is pushing down on Saki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Saki is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through. Snow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Saki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Snow sitting and controlling from the half guard. Saki is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Snow scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow wants to pass to mount but Saki is defending the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Snow lands a nice short elbow. Snow content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Saki looks like he's trying to stand up.
Snow slips a nice elbow through Saki's hands, connecting with Saki's forehead. Snow is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Snow lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Saki is defending against the submission attempts here by Snow.
Snow lands a big elbow - Saki is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Snow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Snow! Our winner, Mike Snow, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
