Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Mcintyre (ranked 5509 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Knee (ranked 8166 p4p, 0 weight class). New Knee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enrique Mcintyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, New Knee!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcintyre napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Knee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mcintyre is looking to regain half guard here but Knee keeps moving and retains side control.
The ground and pound from Knee seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Knee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mcintyre rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Knee's guard! Nice work there by Mcintyre!

Mcintyre gets to his feet. Knee looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Knee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Mcintyre breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Knee moves into range and clinches up with Mcintyre.

Knee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Mcintyre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mcintyre manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Knee manages to get himself to full guard.

Mcintyre lands a couple of elbows.
Mcintyre prevents Knee from getting back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcintyre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Knee is looking to stand up but Mcintyre isn't so interested in that idea.

Mcintyre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Knee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcintyre has managed to get both his arms back between Knee's legs - danger averted.

Mcintyre lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knee is working an open guard so Mcintyre takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Knee moves in looking to clinch but Mcintyre pushes him off.

Knee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcintyre did well to prevent Knee getting side control.

Knee is working for a kimura but Mcintyre is defending it quite comfortably.

Knee wants to control but Mcintyre is keeping him busy.
Knee trying to mount his opponent but Mcintyre defends it.
Mcintyre is looking for a sweep. Knee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mcintyre is controlling Knee's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Knee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcintyre keeps working.
Mcintyre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Knee seems to be looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Knee stands up from half guard.

Knee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Knee is fighting to break Mcintyre's control of his arms but Mcintyre is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Knee wants to control from the top but Mcintyre keeps moving.
Mcintyre lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Knee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mcintyre is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knee is just riding it out for now. Mcintyre eventually gives up the hold.

Mcintyre drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Knee gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Knee jumps guard and drags Mcintyre to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

New Knee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mcintyre tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcintyre somewhat.
Knee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No joy there for Mcintyre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fight stays on the outside here - Knee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Knee stands up and waves to Mcintyre to follow him.
Knee throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


Mcintyre is rocked!
Mcintyre backs away from a small jab... but Knee lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Mcintyre crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Knee with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). New Knee!
