Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Savin Anula (ranked 3378 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Alcala (ranked 6249 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnem�ki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anula loads up on a big right hand but Alcala slips the punch.
Alcala let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Alcala works Anula's body with a nice hook.
Alcala pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Anula connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alcala's hands.
Anula catches Alcala with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Alcala uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A combination from Alcala does no damage.
Alcala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alcala throws a body shot but no joy.
Alcala misses with a combination
and Anula connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anula throws a hook to the side of Alcala's head but Alcala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Anula throws a series of punches but Alcala moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh!!! Alcala has knocked Anula down with a huge combo! Alcala steps away and waves a wobbly Anula back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Anula is rocked!
Alcala goes for a small jab and connects. Now Alcala goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Anula stumbles back but Alcala runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Anula to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Anula will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rodney Alcala!
