The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Eleven drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Eleven (4) vs (0) Loco Eleven tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eleven has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Eleven tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eleven has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Loco is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Eleven's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Loco wants to improve his position but Eleven is controlling well.
Eleven could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Loco controlling the position for now. Loco moves into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eleven looking to improve position, pressing down on Loco's thigh with his hand. Loco seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Eleven paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Eleven's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Loco picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mono Loco! |
