Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 296 p4p, 33 weight class) and William King (ranked 496 p4p, 57 weight class). Black comes into the arena with Manu Chao - Mr. Bobby blaring out of the sound system. King has chosen Summer Sixteen By: Drake as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

39 - 20 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, William King!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Black throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
William King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Black misses its intended target.
Black throws a shot from downtown. King moves away and avoids it.
King connects with an inside leg kick.
King walks into a jab.
Black takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Black shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily.
King throws out a counter right but Black avoids it with no problem.
King throws a head kick that misses.
King slips under a jab.
King swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Black counter with a right hand.
It looks like William King has been cut.
Black lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Black missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King throws a nice outside leg kick.
Black looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Black throws a hook but King blocks it.
King showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Black.
Black misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.
A big right from Black misses.
King pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Black changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.
King can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Black throwing shots but King is blocking nicely.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but King is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Black is sneakily working for an arm triangle but King sees it coming and defends easily.
Black is keen to just control but King is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. King tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Black!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Matt Black!
