PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marion Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgie Bryden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore comes into the arena with BOOT - Pepper blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bryden's choice of entrance music: Dizzee Rascal - Fix Up look Sharp. Georgie Bryden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore shoots in looking for a takedown. Bryden tries to sprawl out of it but Moore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bryden manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Bryden counters with a good, hard body kick but Moore shrugs it off.

Moore doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bryden counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bryden is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Moore wants to control but Bryden is keeping busy.

Bryden cracks Moore with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moore is trying to maintain the position but Bryden is very close to passing his half guard.

Bryden is pressing down on Moore's thigh, looking to free his foot. Moore is holding on for now.

Georgie Bryden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Moore decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bryden's guard.
