The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz lands with a nice body kick.
Nostro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A head kick misses from Ruiz .
Ruiz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nostro eats them both and turns towards Ruiz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ruiz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ruiz lands a nice looking body shot.
Nostro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nostro is breathing heavily.
Nostro moves in looking to clinch but Ruiz pushes him off.
Ruiz scores with a punch to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruiz drops Nostro with a beautiful combination! Nostro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ruiz is looking for the KO!
Nostro is rocked!
It looks like Enzone Nostro has been cut.
Ruiz batters Nostro with a massive right followed by a huge left! Nostro is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Ruiz lands a final crushing right hand to drop Nostro to the mat with a gruesome thud! Ruiz is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
