The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khabibov feints and as Davis raises his hands in defense, Khabibov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Davis being controlled here, momentarily.
Khabibov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Khabibov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davis, who protects the arm well.
Davis is looking for a sweep.
A control attempt from Davis but he's now mounted!
Khabibov moves to the back position.
Khabibov controlling the position well here. Davis rolled but Khabibov kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khabibov has got one arm under Davis's chin. This could be trouble... Davis trying to control the other hand but Khabibov gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Davis has tapped out! The fight is over!
