The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Waddell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Waddell is trying to control Turturro's posture but Turturro avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Waddell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Turturro cranks the arm and Waddell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Waddell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

After the fight, Tuccio Turturro was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
