PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simba Moso (ranked 6948 p4p, 513 weight class) and Thomas Maeda (ranked 2918 p4p, 327 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moso might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Simba Moso could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thomas Maeda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Simba Moso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Maeda!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda shoots for a takedown but Moso saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Maeda tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moso sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maeda somewhat.

Maeda rushes Moso and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Maeda is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Simba Moso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Maeda.

Maeda jumps guard and drags Moso to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Maeda has his feet on Moso's thighs here. He's pushed Moso off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Moso screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
