Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hidetoshi Fukunishi (ranked 6025 p4p, 491 weight class) and Yasunori Sakai (ranked 5801 p4p, 365 weight class). The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakai shoots in for a takedown but Fukunishi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Fukunishi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Hidetoshi Fukunishi will probably get the nod.

Sakai goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fukunishi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sakai but great work by Fukunishi.
