Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eye Crap (ranked 3242 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Baker (ranked 4399 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Baker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crap swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Crap swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Joe Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crap throws a nice looking combination but Baker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've been told by Crap's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Baker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crap manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baker thuds his right hand into Crap's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Baker goes for a small jab and connects. Now Baker goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Crap stumbles back but Baker runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Crap to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Crap will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joe Baker!
