Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Sokolov (ranked 663 p4p, 76 weight class) and Wolfgang Muller (ranked 685 p4p, 80 weight class). Konstantin Sokolov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wolfgang Muller's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolov thuds his right hand into Muller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Muller stalks Sokolov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sokolov's face. Sokolov staggers backwards, shaken.

Muller loads up on a big right hand but Sokolov slips the punch.

Sokolov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Muller can pounce on him.

It looks like Sokolov has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Muller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round but I would say that Konstantin Sokolov will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
