Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bradford Boyd (ranked 6027 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isochronous Dixon Y (ranked 5406 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bradford Boyd has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bradford Boyd seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Bradford Boyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Isochronous Dixon Y! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyd gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dixon Y wants to control from the top but Boyd keeps moving. Boyd wants to sweep here but Dixon Y controlling him for the moment. Boyd is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dixon Y trying to control the position from guard on top but Boyd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boyd wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyd trying to keep a closed guard but Dixon Y is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boyd has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dixon Y moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dixon Y throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boyd counters with a takedown into side control. Dixon Y sneaks out the side door and pushes Boyd away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Dixon Y fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyd, pushing him back against the cage. Boyd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Isochronous Dixon Y seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyd misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyd has Dixon Y up against the cage in a clinch.
Boyd has Dixon Y pushed against the cage. Boyd is trying to push Dixon Y away but Dixon Y has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Boyd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Boyd fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dixon Y moves into the clinch successfully.
Dixon Y is trying to trip Boyd. He has hold of a leg but Boyd is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dixon Y persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Boyd tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon Y throwing strikes from guard but Boyd blocks nicely. Dixon Y stands and throws Boyd's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dixon Y wants to control but Boyd is keeping him busy. Dixon Y in side control, throwing shots but Boyd defends. Dixon Y throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Boyd is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dixon Y wants to control for a moment but Boyd uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Dixon Y really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon Y wants to take a breather but Boyd is having none of it. Boyd moves into full guard.
Boyd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dixon Y is aware though and is defending well. Boyd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boyd wants to sweep but no luck. Boyd keeping moving, preventing Dixon Y from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Isochronous Dixon Y dominated that round. That's time! Boyd's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boyd fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boyd gets a double leg takedown into Dixon Y's guard. Boyd is standing up over Dixon Y. Dixon Y looks to escape but Boyd dives into side control.
Boyd looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dixon Y pushes Boyd away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boyd gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dixon Y is trying to control Boyd's posture but Boyd avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon Y is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Boyd is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Boyd controlling his opponent. Isochronous Dixon Y has got the better of the ground game so far. Dixon Y is working to get back to half guard.
Boyd gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Boyd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boyd lands in his opponent's guard. Dixon Y has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Boyd off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon Y instigates a clinch. Boyd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Dixon Y. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A left and a right from Dixon Y both land. Nice combination. Boyd drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dixon Y tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyd is not going to allow Dixon Y to sit and survive in this position. Boyd controls the action. Dixon Y tries to roll but Boyd sticks to his back.

Boyd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dixon Y defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Boyd's arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon Y trying to get back to his feet but Boyd is in full control for now. Dixon Y tries to break free.
Boyd is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Boyd has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Dixon Y! Can he survive? No! He's out! Boyd gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bradford Boyd!
