The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Alvaro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Alvaro connects with a nice looking jab.
Alvaro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alvaro wants it to stay on the feet.
ReConnor avoids a punch combination nicely.
ReConnor stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Alvaro.
Alvaro fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. ReConnor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
ReConnor takes one on the button.
Alvaro throws a quick head kick that skims the top of ReConnor's head.
ReConnor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

ReConnor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alvaro throws a blind hook that connects with the side of ReConnors head.
Alvaro works on ReConnor's body with a couple of short punches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alvaro creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Alvaro gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Oh ReConnor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alvaro presses ReConnor against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Alvaro lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Alvaro creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops ReConnor! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Alvaro.
