Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rein Van Antwerpen (ranked 7683 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Dresdner (ranked 23422 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Rein Van Antwerpen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Dresdner! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Antwerpen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dresdner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Antwerpen somewhat. Dresdner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Van Antwerpen is looking to clinch but Dresdner is avoiding it.
Van Antwerpen rushes Dresdner and presses him up against the cage. Van Antwerpen manages to pull guard.
Dresdner trying to move into half guard but instead Van Antwerpen has managed to sweep! Van Antwerpen postures up in Dresdner's guard and throws a big left but Dresdner blocks it. Van Antwerpen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Van Antwerpen tries to stand but Dresdner is controlling from the bottom. Dresdner is looking for a triangle here but Van Antwerpen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Antwerpen working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dresdner is looking to regain half guard here but Van Antwerpen keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dresdner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Antwerpen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dresdner is still trying to improve position. Dresdner on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Van Antwerpen is trying to get an arm triangle but Dresdner is defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dresdner can do anything to dispel that myth. Dresdner taking punishment in the form of punches.
Van Antwerpen is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dresdner will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Dresdner wants to control but Van Antwerpen postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dresdner is not content to let Van Antwerpen control the position. Van Antwerpen decides to stand back up. Dresdner moves into the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dresdner. Van Antwerpen tries to pull guard but Dresdner forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Van Antwerpen is trying to drag Dresdner to the mat but Dresdner just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rein Van Antwerpen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dresdner breaks from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dresdner swings for the body but Van Antwerpen moves out of range.

Dresdner changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Van Antwerpen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Van Antwerpen jumps guard and drags Dresdner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dresdner being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dresdner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dresdner engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dresdner wants to stand and escape but instead Van Antwerpen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Dresdner isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Van Antwerpen stacks Dresdner on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Van Antwerpen! Van Antwerpen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Van Antwerpen cracks Dresdner with a big right hand but Dresdner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Dresdner shoots for a takedown but Van Antwerpen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Van Antwerpen goes for a double leg but Dresdner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dresdner continues to drive forward. Van Antwerpen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Van Antwerpen showed some decent athleticism there. Van Antwerpen stands up from half guard. Van Antwerpen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dresdner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Van Antwerpen as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Antwerpen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dresdner to score an easy takedown into full guard. Van Antwerpen has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dresdner is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Van Antwerpen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dresdner can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Dresdner jumps guard but Van Antwerpen stands there with Dresdner around his waist. Dresdner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rein Van Antwerpen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Dresdner. Van Antwerpen wants the takedown. Dresdner is fighting it off but Van Antwerpen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dresdner's guard against the cage. Dresdner is wriggling around but Van Antwerpen manages to pass to half guard.
Van Antwerpen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Van Antwerpen trying to control the action but Dresdner is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Antwerpen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Rein Van Antwerpen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dresdner is staying active underneath Van Antwerpen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dresdner has eaten all the pies! Van Antwerpen works his way into side control. Van Antwerpen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dresdner's shoulder. That is not cool. Dresdner manages to get back to half guard. Van Antwerpen is looking for a kimura but Dresdner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Van Antwerpen to get the leverage. Dresdner lands a couple of sideways elbows. Dresdner pushes Van Antwerpen off looking to stand but Van Antwerpen dives back in and keeps control.
Van Antwerpen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dresdner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Van Antwerpen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dresdner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dresdner is trying to get back to full guard. Dresdner scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Van Antwerpen manages to mount him!
Dresdner is trying desperately to improve position. Van Antwerpen moves to the back. Van Antwerpen lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Van Antwerpen controlling from the back. Van Antwerpen is landing with strikes from the back. Dresdner trying to control the hands but Van Antwerpen breaks the grip. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Dresdner staying busy and making it hard for Van Antwerpen to control. Van Antwerpen looking for the choke from the back. Despite being in a bad position, Dresdner is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. I would not like to be Dresdner right now.

Van Antwerpen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dresdner sprawls well initially but Van Antwerpen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Van Antwerpen works his way into full mount! Van Antwerpen trying to control but Dresdner is having none of it. The referee warns Dresdner that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Antwerpen lands a heavy elbow. Van Antwerpen lands a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dresdner is desperately trying to improve his position but Van Antwerpen has a good base and remains in mount. Van Antwerpen controlling his opponent. Dresdner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Van Antwerpen has hold of Dresdner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dresdner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Antwerpen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dresdner can't escape the position.
Van Antwerpen trying to control but Dresdner is having none of it. Van Antwerpen content just to control the position here. Van Antwerpen won't let Dresdner get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Van Antwerpen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dresdner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Van Antwerpen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Van Antwerpen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Van Antwerpen controlling from mount. Van Antwerpen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dresdner is looking to escape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Van Antwerpen looking to finish Dresdner with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dresdner!
And that's the end of the fight! Rein Van Antwerpen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Van Antwerpen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
