Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Wagdy (ranked 7378 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Palmer (ranked 3965 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnold Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer moves into range and clinches up with Wagdy.
Palmer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wagdy.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Palmer.
Wagdy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wagdy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Palmer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mustafa Wagdy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wagdy is trying to pull guard but Palmer has him pressed against the cage.
Palmer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Wagdy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Palmer walks away with a smile on his face. Wagdy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wagdy is working for a guillotine from mount but Palmer frees his head quite easily.

Wagdy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Palmer is looking to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Palmer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wagdy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Wagdy wants to control the pace but Palmer is squirming around nicely.
Wagdy has hold of Palmer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Palmer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wagdy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Palmer has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Palmer defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wagdy.
Wagdy wants to finish this one by submission but Palmer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wagdy.
Wagdy has control of Palmer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Palmer regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wagdy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Palmer has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Palmer is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Wagdy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Palmer is now in Wagdy's guard. A big mistake from Wagdy there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wagdy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Wagdy stops Palmer from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Arnold Palmer will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wagdy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wagdy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Palmer cracks Wagdy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Arnold Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer closes the distance and pushes Wagdy back into the cage.
Wagdy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Palmer walks away with a smile on his face. Wagdy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wagdy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wagdy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wagdy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Palmer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wagdy's guard! Nice work there by Palmer!
Wagdy has a closed guard, preventing Palmer from standing up.
Wagdy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wagdy wants to pass the guard but Palmer is defending well.
