Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Shipman (ranked 2145 p4p, 257 weight class) and Cruz Lopez (ranked 1449 p4p, 173 weight class). Shipman comes to the cage accompanied by I'll beat yo ass.. Harold Shipman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cruz Lopez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez misses the shot to the body.
Cruz Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lopez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shipman needs to keep his hands up - Lopez had a free shot at his head there.

Shipman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lopez for as long as he can get away with.

Shipman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Shipman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Shipman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Shipman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lopez but Lopez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shipman is rocked!
Lopez seems to be stalking Shipman here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Shipman drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Cruz Lopez decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
