Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lachlan Cassidy (ranked 2543 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Beltran (ranked 2938 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lachlan Cassidy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Beltran! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beltran takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Beltran drives through and clinches with Cassidy against the cage.
Cassidy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Beltran misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Beltran looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Cassidy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Beltran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cassidy circles away. Cassidy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beltran looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Beltran lands a right hook to the body.
Beltran looks winded! Cassidy connects with a single shot there. Cassidy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cassidy.
Beltran is rocked! Lachlan Cassidy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beltran looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Beltran is still on wobbly legs! Can Cassidy finish him? Beltran chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cassidy can pounce on him.
Beltran fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cassidy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cassidy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Beltran, pushing him back against the cage. Cassidy lands a body punch. Cassidy misses with a punch to the body.
Cassidy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Beltran takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cassidy with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control. Cassidy in side control, just content to control the action for now. Cassidy tries to move into full mount but can't pass Beltran's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltran trying to remain calm as Cassidy controls from the top position. Cassidy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Beltran seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cassidy works to advance to full mount. Beltran defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Cassidy controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Further stalling from Cassidy. Beltran is working to get back to half guard.
Cassidy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cassidy throws some wild stikes that Beltran manages to avoid easily.
Cassidy controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lachlan Cassidy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Beltran fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Beltran does no damage. Cassidy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cassidy lands a slapping body shot.
Cassidy dodges the punch combination from Beltran.
Beltran throws a nice looking combination but Cassidy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cassidy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Cassidy closes the distance and clinches. Cassidy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice body punch from Cassidy. Cassidy lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beltran doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Beltran is breathing heavily. Cassidy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The fight moves into the clinch position. Beltran takes a shot to the head. Cassidy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cassidy scores with a shot to the side of Beltran's head. Cassidy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Beltran backwards. Cassidy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cassidy moves into the clinch successfully.
Beltran has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cassidy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Cassidy lands a nice uppercut. Cassidy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Cassidy manages to break the clinch.
Cassidy is looking to wear down Beltran with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Cassidy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Cassidy lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Beltran falls backwards - clearly groggy! Cassidy dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lachlan Cassidy! Lachlan Cassidy took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Red Light Coffeeshop for their support in the buildup to the fight.
