Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zsiga Venczel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, He Mu!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Venczel lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like He Mu has been cut.
Mu swings for the body but Venczel moves out of range.
Venczel seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Venczel chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mu jabs Venczel to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Venczel looks to score with a jab to the body but Mu is just out of range.
Mu misses with a straight left.
Mu misses with the combination.
Venczel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mu.
Venczel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Venczel misses the shot to the body.
Mu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Venczel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mu throws a sloppy head kick and Venczel moves out of range easily.
Venczel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Venczel pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mu is out of range and Venczel settles back down.
Mu misses with a looping left.
Venczel lands an overhand right.
Mu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Venczel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Venczel stays in close to Mu's body and controls the position.
Venczel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Venczel trying to control the position from guard on top but Mu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Venczel controls the pace.
Venczel tries to free his leg and advance position but Mu is retaining full guard.
Mu has his foot on Venczel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Venczel works his way back into a safe position though.

Venczel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Venczel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
He Mu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Mu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mu there as he acknowledges the shot.

Mu stuffs the takedown.
Mu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Venczel attempts a counter takedown but Mu avoids it well and moves away.

Mu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Zsiga Venczel has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Venczel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A little jabbing left from Mu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mu throws a sloppy head kick and Venczel moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zsiga Venczel dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Venczel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mu was well out of range. Poor timing from Venczel.
Zsiga Venczel is winning the standup battle so far.
Venczel moves out of range of the strikes.
Venczel throws a leg kick
and Mu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mu takes a swing at Venczel's ribcage but misses.
Venczel tried to score with a low kick but Mu checks it.
Venczel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mu can do to turn this around?
Venczel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Venczel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mu is pulling down on Venczel's head. It's preventing any offense from Venczel, at least for the moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mu controls Venczel momentarily but Venczel frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Venczel slips a jab from Mu.
Venczel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mu is fending him off so far but Venczel persists. Nope, Mu circles away and we're back to standing.

Venczel throws a looping overhand right but Mu ducks down to avoid it.

He Mu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Venczel is looking to take a break and control but Mu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Venczel is thwarting Mu's attempts to control the position.
Well, if Venczel is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zsiga Venczel.

A determined Zsiga Venczel didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
