Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quetzal Montezuma (ranked 43 p4p, 2 weight class) and Koba Wyatt (ranked 171 p4p, 17 weight class). Montezuma's entrance music is The Mayan Predator. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wyatt's choice of entrance music: Channel Zero. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt throws a head kick that misses.

Montezuma seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Montezuma turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Wyatt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Montezuma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Montezuma moves away from the strike by Wyatt.

Montezuma looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Montezuma throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Montezuma tries to move into range but Wyatt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Wyatt walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Wyatt limp body while Montezuma jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
