Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Darwin (ranked 1557 p4p, 181 weight class) and Johnny Walker (ranked 1696 p4p, 196 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Charlie Darwin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charlie Darwin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Walker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin avoids the head kick by Walker.
Darwin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Walker lands a high kick!
Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Darwin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Darwin throws a sloppy body shot
and Walker counters by clinching up.
A nice left hand lands by Darwin.
Darwin throws a punch but it's blocked by Walker.
Walker breaks the clinch.
A good leg kick by Walker.
A big right from Darwin misses.
Darwin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Walker misses with a double jab
and Darwin counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker lands with an overhand left.
Walker misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Walker cracks Darwin with a right hand to the side of the head.
Darwin tests Walker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Walker is rocked!
Walker swinging wildly here.
Walker lands a lovely overhand right.
Walker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Darwin finish him?
Walker throws a sloppy head kick
and Darwin scores with a counter punch that sends Walker to the canvas! Darwin smells blood - he's punishing Walker with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Walker has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Darwin!
Charlie Darwin bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
