Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Schultz (ranked 2935 p4p, 324 weight class) and Ignatius Thistlewhite (ranked 1725 p4p, 200 weight class). Schultz comes into the arena with Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) blaring out of the sound system. Ignatius Thistlewhite will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ignatius Thistlewhite!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thistlewhite closes the distance and clinches.
Schultz wants a takedown but no success here.
Schultz goes for a takedown attempt but Thistlewhite pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thistlewhite is defended easily by Schultz.
Schultz seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A combination from Thistlewhite does no damage.
Schultz tries for a takedown but Thistlewhite sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thistlewhite tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Thistlewhite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schultz manages to avoid it.

Schultz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thistlewhite napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Schultz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Thistlewhite could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Schultz has cracked it and Thistlewhite is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Schultz!
