Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerisiano Lagomau (ranked 2880 p4p, 264 weight class) and Sam Wilson (ranked 2138 p4p, 196 weight class). Kerisiano Lagomau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kerisiano Lagomau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Wilson! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lagomau lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wilson misses with an uppercut. Wilson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lagomau has his hands on Wilson's head, controlling the position. Wilson stopping the sweep attempt from Lagomau. Lagomau looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wilson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lagomau is looking for a sweep. Wilson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Lagomau is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson uses his free foot to push down on Lagomau's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lagomau. Lagomau is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lagomau manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lagomau is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson is controlling the pace.
Lagomau is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson seems to be looking for submissions.
Wilson trying to control from half guard but Lagomau is working away. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wilson content to control rather than advance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lagomau misses with a body shot.
Lagomau blocks a jab. Wilson is looking to clinch but Lagomau is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lagomau.
Wilson doesn't manage to clinch there - Lagomau circles away.
Wilson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Lagomau misses. Lagomau stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wilson tries to clinch up and Lagomau connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lagomau misses with a hook. Wilson ducked under it nicely. Wilson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lagomau. Lagomau circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lagomau connects with a high kick.
It looks like Sam Wilson has been cut. Kerisiano Lagomau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wilson punishes Lagomau's body with a nice straight punch. Lagomau stuffs the takedown attempt from Wilson. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet. We've been told by Lagomau's head coaches at Samran Muay Thai that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lagomau is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Lagomau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilson sees it coming and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kerisiano Lagomau will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sam Wilson's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Lagomau throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wilson throws a series of punches but Lagomau moves out of range. Lagomau takes a swing at Wilson's ribcage but misses. Lagomau lands a big head kick that sends Wilson tumbling to the mat! Lagomau takes a step backwards and waves Wilson back to his feet - he wants the finish! Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lagomau swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lagomau throws a hook to the side of Wilson's head but Wilson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lagomau scores with a hook.
Wilson is rocked! Lagomau is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilson can do to turn this around? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lagomau lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Wilson head around and knocks him out cold! Lagomau hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kerisiano Lagomau! During a confident post fight interview, Kerisiano Lagomau thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
