Morales comes to the cage accompanied by ice ice baby. Martin Morales could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shannon Shiflett's chin.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiflett fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morales sprawls well initially but Shiflett persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Morales looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Shiflett holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Shiflett lands a nice knee to the body.
Morales drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shiflett gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Morales is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shiflett is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Morales to the mat. Morales regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
