Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erran Morad! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morad throws a right and a left that both miss. Williams throws a big counter combination but Morad scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Morad clinches up against the cage. Morad scores with a shoulder strike. Morad throws a punch but it's blocked by Williams. Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morad ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Morad moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Williams swinging wildly here.
Morad tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range. Williams swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Morad tries to clinch and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Erran Morad has been cut. Morad moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. A jab from Morad finds it's way through Williams's defenses. Williams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams punishes Morad's body with a nice straight punch. Morad looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range. A swing and a miss from Williams. Williams throws a hook to the side of Morad's head but Morad sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Williams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams takes a swing at Morad's ribcage but misses. Williams misses with a body shot.

Williams has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Morad on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Morad comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Williams punishes Morad's body with a nice straight punch. Morad takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Morad scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Morad avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Morad instigates a clinch. Williams lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Morad tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Morad misses with the head strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A left lands for Morad. Williams misses with a hook. Nice uppercut there from Williams. Morad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Erran Morad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Morad. Morad is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Morad misses. Morad throws a body shot but no joy. Morad is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Williams tests Morad's chin there with a solid looking shot. Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Morad. Morad swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams throws a shot from downtown. Morad moves away and avoids it. Morad tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center. A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Morad is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Nice jab there from Williams. Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morad. Morad moves away from the strike by Williams. Williams lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Morad at a distance.
Morad looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morad gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from Morad on the inside. Morad lands a nice shot to the body. Williams jumps guard but Morad stands there with Williams around his waist. Williams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Morad lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Williams. Williams is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Morad to keep the fight standing. A head punch on the inside from Morad fails to land. Morad scores with a shot to the side of Williams's head. Williams throws a punch but it's blocked by Morad. Morad doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Morad has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Williams takes one to the side of the head.

Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Morad lands a nice shot that snaps Williams's head back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morad closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Morad lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Williams. Morad lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Williams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morad just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wayne Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Morad as Williams tries to tie him up. Morad misses with the head strike.
Williams is trying to break the clinch but Morad has him pressed against the cage. Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Morad tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Morad lands with an overhand left. Morad throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Williams sizes up Morad with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams forces Morad back against the cage and clinches. Morad stalling.
Morad lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Morad misses with a punch on the inside.
Williams manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Erran Morad will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Erran Morad's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Williams throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Morad steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Williams. Williams avoids the body shot from Morad.
Morad jabs Williams to the body, keeping him at a distance. Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morad wants to counter with a clinch but Williams pushes him away. Williams lands a nice looking body shot.

Morad clinches up against the cage. Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morad looks to clinch enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.
Morad is rocked! Morad takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Morad is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams cracks Morad with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Morad falls to his knees and Williams doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
