Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Killian Armstrong (ranked 1924 p4p, 229 weight class) and Philip Moore (ranked 1831 p4p, 216 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Killian Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Moore! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ron Honeybunn and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore throws out a leg kick but Armstrong moves out of range and Moore only half commits. Moore throws a right hand that misses
enabling Armstrong to counter with a crisp jab. Armstrong thuds his right hand into Moore's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Moore fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Armstrong checks it well. Moore throws a body punch but Armstrong moves out of range. It looked like Armstrong was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Moore. Armstrong has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Moore cracks a nice hook into Armstrong's ribs. Armstrong throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it. A nice side step and Moore releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Armstrong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Armstrong throws a jab but it's blocked by Moore. Moore throws a leg kick and Armstrong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Armstrong slips under a jab. Moore misses with a low kick as Armstrong jumps back. Moore misses with a hook to the body
and Armstrong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Moore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Armstrong manages to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bone on bone clash there as Armstrong blocks the leg kick.
Moore will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Moore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Moore scores with a sloppy right hand. Armstrong should have avoided that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Armstrong is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moore slips under a jab.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Killian Armstrong will probably get the nod. That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Armstrong with a body punch. A glancing blow. Armstrong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moore dips to his left and cracks Armstrong with an uppercut! The fighters circle momentarily. Moore darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Armstrong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Philip Moore. Well Moore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
