Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minail Mikahil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugo Andrade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Minail Mikahil! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrade shoots in for a double leg but Mikahil sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mikahil misses with a takedown and Andrade counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mikahil's guard now. Andrade tries to free his leg and advance position but Mikahil is retaining full guard. Mikahil keeping moving, preventing Andrade from controlling successfully. Andrade passes into half guard. Mikahil lands with a few short shots to the body. Mikahil wants to get back to his feet.
Andrade looking for a submission but Mikahil manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrade in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Andrade tries to free his leg and advance position but Mikahil is retaining full guard. Mikahil pushes Andrade off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Mikahil steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Andrade. Mikahil looks for a takedown but Andrade sprawls well. Mikahil is looking to clinch but Andrade is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Andrade throws a body punch but Mikahil moves out of range. Mikahil scores a takedown into full mount! Andrade wants to hold on but Mikahil pushes him away. Andrade really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mikahil fails to take his opponent's back. Mikahil lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrade wants to control but Mikahil is having none of it. Mikahil looking to ground and pound but Andrade is blocking nicely. Mikahil stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Mikahil looks gassed! Andrade shoots and misses and Mikahil counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Andrade is working for takedown but Mikahil is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo Andrade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andrade drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mikahil gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Andrade accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Andrade wants to stand but Mikahil is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mikahil looking for a sweep. Not yet Mikahil, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mikahil holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Minail Mikahil dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Andrade doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mikahil counters with a stiff right hand. Mikahil scores a takedown into full mount! Andrade working to try and regain half guard.
Andrade wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Andrade tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Andrade is desperately trying to improve his position but Mikahil has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mikahil punishing his opponent with strikes. Andrade wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mikahil putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Mikahil get's back to his feet. Mikahil has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mikahil gets control of Andrade's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mikahil will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Andrade trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mikahil throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrade wants to control from the top but Mikahil keeps moving. Mikahil is adopting a defensive guard. Andrade wants to control from the top but Mikahil keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mikahil closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mikahil lands in his opponent's guard. Mikahil stands and steps away. Andrade gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Andrade lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Andrade with a poor takedown and Mikahil counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mikahil makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Andrade keeping full guard, as Mikahil tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Minail Mikahil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Andrade tries for a takedown but Mikahil circles away easily and Mikahil counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Andrade! Andrade bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrade drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mikahil looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mikahil looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mikahil! Andrade tries to buck Mikahil off but Mikahil is having none of it. Mikahil controls the position from side control. Minail Mikahil has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mikahil working the ground and pound from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrade is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Andrade struggling a bit here. Mikahil in side control lands a decent elbow. Andrade is looking to regain half guard here but Mikahil keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mikahil cracks Andrade with an elbow. That's three minutes gone in the round. Mikahil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andrade keeps working. Mikahil decides to take the fight back to the feet. Mikahil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andrade's waist but Andrade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mikahil off to one side. Andrade misses with a takedown attempt and Mikahil counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mikahil trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Andrade has control of Mikahil's left arm, preventing Mikahil from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrade is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Minail Mikahil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mikahil has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
