Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Avery (ranked 23592 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braun Strowman (ranked 4622 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jean Avery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Braun Strowman! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strowman looking to score a takedown here. Avery is defending well but Strowman drives through and ends up in Avery's guard. Avery is pulling down on Strowman's head. It's preventing any offense from Strowman, at least for the moment. Strowman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Avery's head. Strowman being controlled here momentarily. Strowman is in close to Avery's body, working some short punches and elbows. Strowman trying to control the position from guard on top but Avery is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Strowman tries to free his leg and advance position but Avery is retaining full guard. Avery wants to sweep here but Strowman controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strowman trying to control but Avery is working from the bottom. Avery wants to sweep here but Strowman controlling him for the moment. Avery might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Avery has his hands on Strowman's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avery has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Strowman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Strowman trying to control the position from guard on top but Avery is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Avery trying to control the position here. Strowman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Avery seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Avery really is a fat lump. Strowman misses with a takedown attempt and Avery counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Strowman is looking to clinch but Avery is avoiding it.

It looks like Jean Avery has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Avery wants it to stay on the feet. Avery shoots in for a takedown but Strowman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Avery moves into range and clinches up with Strowman. Strowman has had enough of the clinch but Avery keeps him there for the moment. A head punch on the inside from Strowman fails to land. Strowman trying to stall but Avery improves his position.
Strowman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Strowman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Avery pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jean Avery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braun Strowman. Strowman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Avery breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Avery moves into the clinch. Strowman jumps guard but Avery stands there with Strowman around his waist. Strowman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Strowman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Strowman misses with a takedown attempt and Avery connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Strowman shoots and misses and Avery counters with a stiff right hand. Avery shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Strowman trying to control from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Avery dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jean Avery's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Strowman shoots in looking for a takedown but Avery manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Strowman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Avery leaves Strowman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Strowman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Avery counters with a head kick. That will keep Strowman thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Jean Avery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braun Strowman. Strowman doesn't manage to clinch there - Avery circles away.
Avery jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Strowman wants to clinch and Avery counters with a stiff right hand. Strowman is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strowman motions for Avery to come forward. Strowman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Strowman fails with a takedown attempt. Avery is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avery clinches up with Strowman and pushes him back against the cage. Avery working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Strowman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Strowman is trying to break the clinch but Avery is controlling him. Avery gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avery prevents a body shot from Strowman. Avery breaks the clinch.
Strowman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Avery counters with a two punch combo. Strowman misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Avery counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Avery. Strowman tries for a takedown. No joy.
Strowman looking to slow down the pace here. Avery lands an elbow inside. Strowman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Avery to keep the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Avery is defending well against a takedown attempt. Avery breaks the clinch.
Strowman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Avery sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Strowman somewhat. Avery pushes Strowman up against the cage in a clinch. Avery avoiding damage as Strowman throws knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Avery wants to get back to striking at distance but Strowman won't allow it.
Avery prevents the takedown attempt.
Avery pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Strowman with a lazy takedown attempt and Avery counters with a right hand to the body. Strowman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Avery counters by clinching up. Avery's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Avery drives through and clinches with Strowman against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Avery dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jean Avery's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Avery shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Strowman's guard. Strowman trying to keep a closed guard but Avery is proving a slippery customer.
Strowman has momentary wrist control but Avery slips an elbow through the middle. Avery is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Strowman can do to turn this around? Strowman controls Avery momentarily but Avery frees himself. Strowman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Avery postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Avery is sitting in close to Strowman's body. Strowman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Avery is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Avery is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Strowman.
