The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hongo at a distance.
Hongo dives in and grabs Dawson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dawson pushes down on Hongo's head and hops out.
Hongo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dawson did well to prevent Hongo getting side control.
Dawson throws some strikes from the bottom but Hongo isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Dawson is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Hongo!
