Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Neuer (ranked 3096 p4p, 329 weight class) and Charlie Zane (ranked 3766 p4p, 389 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Zane!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Zane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Neuer counters with a shoot takedown. Zane fights it but they end up in guard.
Zane is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Neuer defends well.
Neuer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Neuer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Neuer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neuer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zane preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Zane has his foot on Neuer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neuer works his way back into a safe position though.
Zane controls Neuer momentarily but Neuer frees himself.
Neuer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Neuer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zane works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Neuer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zane!
Neuer gets back to half guard.

Neuer is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Zane frees his head nicely. Oh but Neuer has switched to an armbar! Zane is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
