Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Breno Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rami Ben Amor! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ben Amor cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Breno Gracie has been cut. Ben Amor throws a leg kick and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ben Amor has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ben Amor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ben Amor has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ben Amor told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gracie has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ben Amor has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ben Amor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ben Amor throws Gracie to one side and escapes! Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ben Amor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ben Amor lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Ben Amor takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish! Ben Amor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though. Ben Amor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ben Amor tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie staying out of range there. Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Ben Amor is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ben Amor doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie. Gracie moves nicely into side control. Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ben Amor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gracie prevents Ben Amor from escaping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Breno Gracie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Breno Gracie's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ben Amor has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie has an Americana. Ben Amor didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gracie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
