Yakuza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Legend of Zelda, Overworld kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basington dives in and scores a takedown into Yakuza's guard.
Yakuza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Basington content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Basington lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Yakuza avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yakuza is still in real trouble! Can Basington finish him?
Basington landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Basington takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Basington is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Basington seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yakuza for as long as he can get away with.
Basington scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Basington lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Yakuza quite badly. Yakuza pulls Basington in close trying to recover. Basington postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Yakuza on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Yakuza doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Basington!
Ichi Yakuza spoke after the fight, saying 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
