Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Biernat (ranked 2873 p4p, 243 weight class) and Kyoji Kubota (ranked 6924 p4p, 389 weight class). Biernat comes to the cage accompanied by Someday. Kubota is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sweet Inspiration by Hiroshi Satoh. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biernat goes for a small jab and connects. Now Biernat goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kubota stumbles back but Biernat runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kubota to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kubota will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

A determined Mateusz Biernat didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
