Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Franco (ranked 3538 p4p, 164 weight class) and Claudio Gadelha (ranked 7949 p4p, 264 weight class). Gadelha is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Melle Mel - Step Off. The key to victory for Pedro Franco has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadelha closes the distance and clinches.
Franco jumps guard but Gadelha turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

We've been hearing reports that Franco has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A short body shot lands from Gadelha as the two fighters clinch.
