Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Didi Hamman (ranked 7197 p4p, 562 weight class) and Erik Dylan (ranked 5534 p4p, 0 weight class). Didi Hamman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Didi Hamman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Dylan!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamman clinches.

Dylan jumps guard.
Dylan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Dylan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hamman's guard.

Hamman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hamman tries to get out of the position.
Dylan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dylan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hamman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dylan manages to avoid it.
Hamman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dylan moves away.

Dylan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hamman on his heels. He'll look to pass Hamman's guard now, I'm sure.

Hamman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hamman. Dylan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hamman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dylan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hamman tries to throw a body punch but Dylan avoids it by throwing Hamman back against the cage.

It looks like Erik Dylan has been cut.
Hamman unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dylan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hamman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dylan.
Hamman has a couple of punches blocked by Dylan.

Dylan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hamman pulls his leg out and moves away.

That was a close round but I would say that Didi Hamman will probably get the nod.

Dylan swings wildly with an uppercut but Hamman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dylan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hamman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dylan has Hamman pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dylan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hamman tumbling to the mat - Dylan dives into Hamman's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
